Word for iPad--Predictive Text Turned Off and Still Going!

Hi, I'm having an issue using word for iPad. I can't get the predictive text to turn off! It's turned off in settings. My predictive text keyboard settings on the iPad are also turned off. I'm only having this problem in Word, so I know it's just Word's settings that are acting up and not the iPad's settings. Is there anything I can do?

I have the exact same issue and near as I can tell, it’s impossible to turn off that annoying predictive text. We might just need to switch to Google Docs.
