tracking

How do I turn off the review and tracking option permanently?

In Word for Windows, go to the Review tab, click the arrow on the Accept button (in the Changes group), and choose Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking.

Doing this will affect the current document. You will have to repeat the procedure for other documents.

The process of turning off review and tracking options will depend on the specific platform or software you are using. However, here are some general steps that may help you turn off review and tracking options in common scenarios:

Browsers: Most web browsers have an option to disable tracking cookies. You can usually find this option under the privacy settings of your browser. For example, in Google Chrome, you can go to Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data, and turn off the option "Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)."

Mobile devices: If you are using a mobile device, you can usually turn off tracking and review options in the settings of the specific app or service you are using. For example, in the Facebook app, you can go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Privacy Settings > Ad Preferences, and turn off options like "Ads based on data from partners" and "Ads based on your activity on Facebook Company Products that you see elsewhere."

Operating systems: Some operating systems, like Windows 10, have a built-in tracking feature that you can turn off. In Windows 10, you can go to Settings > Privacy, and turn off options like "Let apps use advertising ID to make ads more interesting to you based on your app usage" and "Send Microsoft info about how I write to help us improve typing and writing in the future."

Websites and services: Some websites and services have their own tracking and review options that you can turn off in your account settings. For example, in Google, you can go to your Google Account settings, and turn off options like "Ad personalization" and "Web & App Activity."

It's important to note that turning off review and tracking options may limit some features and functionality of the platform or service you are using. Therefore, you should carefully review the implications of turning off these options before doing so.
