Table of Content (not including some even with update of fields)
I cannot create a set of formatting heading styles. There is only one set of heading styles and the style is used throughout the document. However, a table of content needs to be inserted in page 10 of the document with only headings from page 11 to the last page. Anything between page 1 to page 9 are not to be included in the table of content. I can manually delete the rows but this needs to be done EVERYTIME update of fields are run. Is there an option to select pages for table of content?

You can enclose the text from page 11 and to the end of the document in a bookmark and then insert a table of contents field that references only the headings inside the bookmark. See http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/TOCTips.htm#PartialTOC.
