Hello, I saved a flier as a jpg and inserted on a wd and publisher, and the entire 8.5x 11 page is covered but when I print the document (landscape) the right side has a white border.

If you insert and 8.5x11 image on an 11x8.5 landscape page, Word will either shrink the image to have a height of 8.5" or run it over the top. In any case, there will be room on one or more sides.

Try rotating the image in Word so that its orientation matches the page orientation.

Publisher may well deal better with this than Word.
