number list in Word for Mac

In a numbered list, I need to list more than one item in the same paragraph. For example, 5-7. How do I accomplish that?

    sanjay335 The only way that you could semi-automate the process would be to use SEQ fields and format the one that is selected in the following screen shot so that the font is hidden.

    With that method, if you add or remove a number before the one with the range, the numbering will all adjust to be correct when you update the fields in the document.

    Using SEQ fields is likely the best way to handle this. See Doug's reply. 

     

    Alternatively, it would be possible to make use of paragraph numbering and add some more numbers in the same text paragraph by using LISTNUM fields.
