Multi filter by text formatting

I have been using holistic summaries recently.

I was wondering however is there software or options in word to filter piece of text by formatting?

Let me explain.....

I am currently using a summary which is 7 pages long, it is difficult to filter through the parts I want to read as there are so many different coloured pieces of text.

I would like to almost have an option where I could hide a certain coloured text so that I could just see the pieces that I have selected rather than just looking through and trying to ignore the pieces I don't currently want. The next time I read the document I may want to see some of the other coloured text so removing text is not an option.

Hopefully someone understands and has a solution. Maybe there is software that has the capability?
