Microsoft Word combining documents
Hi I have two documents with details that are similar to one another, but I want to combine the two into one document with all detail without duplications. I used the task that combines or compares two documents from the review tab, but I am not sure what the markings mean with different colors. This single document has 40 pages of random notes comprised from two documents, all that is important is knowing there are no duplication of the same note.
Nate626 While the compare documents feature is not designed to accomplish that task, you will get a better result if you have the changes shown in one of the documents, rather than in a new document. The you will probably want to reject all Deletions and Accept all Additions to the text.
