Yesterday, I was having my word file open and updated with all the content that I've been writing in the last month. At a certain point, a banner came up right underneath the font buttons etc. and it said that I had to reboot the App for an error/update. So I rebooted the Word App, but when I clicked back on the file, it had lost half of its content, going back to a version dated to the 6th of August for no reason...
And yes, of course, I've always saved (locally) my file through time.
There is no data in AutoRecovery, nor in Tmp files, nor in the old chronological versions of the file.

@ginopolese Try File>Info>Manage Document>Recover Unsaved Documents.

@Doug_Robbins_Word_MVP thank you, however I can't do it. It's as if, after the reboot of the app, the file went back to a previous version, so it doesn't "recall" anything happening between the 6th of August and today...
