Linking tables within one Word doc

Hello,

This is a long shot, but is it possible to link two tables within one Word doc? Basically, I want to update one table with new content, and I want that content to automatically be inputed/updated in the second table.

I want the same thing! I'm surprised this can't be done.

The fact that the data is in tables is immaterial.

Doug has provided the more flexible way to do this with form fields. 

If you just want to repeat the whole table, you can select it, copy and then use the Paste Special dialog box to paste the table as a linked object elsewhere in the document.

Duplicating the table with a bookmark and a cross-reference to that bookmark would also be possible.
