Equations in Online Word

Please update an option to insert Equations into the online version of Word. As a math teacher who has to collaborate with coworkers and use online Word to store assignments in OneDrive it is extremely frustrating that this is not an option. Our district is required to use the microsoft suite but I cannot even make assignments on it.
