Building Block Organizer

Is there a different interface out there to organize building blocks? The stock interface is so limited and hard to use. No batch functions, no easy way to rename the blocks or change their categories etc. There also isn't a way to insert multiple building blocks at once and no right-click menu to update block contents to current selection like with styles. 

Does anyone know of an add-in or something like that?
