Black horizontal line on blank Word document
New user. I chose blank document. Why does my type appear in a black horizontal box? How do I get a white page?
- If you are in draft view, this is part of the user interface and does not print.
Maybe one of the darker Office Themes have been selected?
If this is Word for Windows, you can click File > Options > General and choose "White" or "Colorful" for "Office Theme."
