I am adding a TOC to an Arabic document based on Numbered three level Heading style as follows:
1. HEADING I
1.1 HEADING II
1.1.1. HEADING III
the TOC show some heading in Latin instead of Arabic though they are appearing Arabic in the document body. Page numbers as well appear in Latin.
Converting the document numerals to Hindi through "File > Options > Advanced > Numeral = "Hindi". Solved the page numbers issue but headings numbers despite appearing in Arabic but they are switched - i.e. the period appears after the number not before

I have no experience with Arabic numbers but I'd start
- verifying if those 5/51/6/61 are on separate sections
- verifying if the style in the documents are different from other styles (Heading x)
- verifying if this is about a particular level in the TOC (styles Toc x)
Kind regards
Hans

In which case I'd try to use the same header footer on those separate sections as on the section just before.

They fall under the same section. I am using sections for different page sizes and the issue appear in numbering falling under the same section.
