Alt Text in Word 2016 and above

Copper Contributor

I have been adding alt text to some documents lately to make them "accessible", and am familiar with how to do so. The problem is that often the added alt text does not refer to images but to decorative borders, spaces for numbers, or hard to read text (these are government documents). Often there are over thirty additions per page.

Once all this text has been inputted though, how to I "go back" and look at it again? With so many entries per page it is not as simple as right clicking a giant image. Is there a way to "view" all the alt text entries which have already been entered simultaneously in a ribbon or window, or "turn on" some sort of function that displays all the entries conveniently? I want other coworkers to be able to proofread or at least see what I've done.

Thanks.
