Security update ends for Windows 8.1 January 10,2023
I have a question pertaining to the end of Security updates for Windows 8.1, January 10,2023. If I have McAfee installed and a current subscription to McAfee, will I still receive the security updates to protect the computer? I understand the answer is yes, however, I would appreciate Microsoft to verify this, as I would be concerned if this computer would be venerable to all my information
I would appreciate any feedback from the Microsoft community
Thank-you

This is official information about it, but having a subscription in this case, unfortunately, will not provide security for an outdated system that needs to be upgraded π

Thank you for your quick response. I was thinking that was the case, I wonder if Microsoft has an upgrade for Windows 8.1 as I don't want to have to get a new computer. I was hoping that I ould download an upgrade. Any information on that would be much appreciated.
Thanks again- Deleted

You can try to download the installation assistant Windows10, it is safe but unfortunately there may be an error but you will receive an error code or other explanation , this is the easiest way if you can have on this computer Windows10
