Security update ends for Windows 8.1 January 10,2023
I have a question pertaining to the end of Security updates for Windows 8.1, January 10,2023. If I have McAfee installed and a current subscription to McAfee, will I still receive the security update...

Thank you for your quick response. I was thinking that was the case, I wonder if Microsoft has an upgrade for Windows 8.1 as I don't want to have to get a new computer. I was hoping that I ould download an upgrade. Any information on that would be much appreciated.

You can try to download the installation assistant Windows10, it is safe but unfortunately there may be an error but you will receive an error code or other explanation , this is the easiest way if you can have on this computer Windows10

I have another question. The download link provided, should I download it right away or should I wait until Microsoft no longer provides the support for windows 8.1? I am not tech savvy and I am hesitating to proceed with the download to Windows 10?

Thank you again for any input providedOf course now - but there is no guarantee that it will succeed, but you will get information about what you are missing.
Do not wait until the system will be without support, if you have no experience ask a friend or go to a computer service, they will help you install Windows10 🙂
