Hi,
go to the system properties by right clicking on the This PC and selecting properties.
go to the hardware tab and select Device installation settings.
from there choose No (your device might not work as expected)
if that doesn't stop the auto installation, restart your computer without Internet and install your own new driver first. once you do that, Windows won't update it to an older driver anymore.
