I have had an issue with Windows 11 Pro clean install from the Media Creation Tool installing corrupt files. There is no message saying corrupt files have been installed, but when I run "sfc /scannow" it finds the corrupt files and fixes them. I reported this is over 2 months ago, but nothing has been fixed. Every time I do a clean install, I have to run sfc to get rid of the corrupt files. Once sfc fixes the corrupt files, I can go to the Dev channel with no problem. So, this morning I decided I would migrate from Broad to Dev without running sfc first. Well, the update to Dev failed with some error code I cannot remember, sorry. The message said wait a while and then try again which I did. The second time the update worked fine. Then when I ran sfc, it found no errors.
What bothers me about this whole issue is anyone not knowing about Windows 11 clean-install installing corrupt files will not get a warning message. I have no idea what these corrupt files are. Don't get me started on OneDrive. lol
