We've been looking for years for some technical documentation on this feature. How secure is the Data Erasure ON option? Is it DOD 5220.22-M compliant? HIPAA HITECH compliant? Can we at least get a technical explanation of the wipe pattern? We've been asking for this since the feature was introduced in Windows 8 😞
