Only icons in Recycle Bin instead of imaged thumbnails from RAW files?

I am a photography hobbyist and shoot my photos in RAW (file attribute is .rw2.) I have installed MS's RAW "Image Extension into Windows 10" (from MS store) which allows File Explorer to show RAW files as photo images. Although my RAW files do show up as photo image thumbnails in File Explorer, they only occasionally show up as imaged thumbnails in the recycle bin; otherwise, 90+% of the discarded RAWs show up as simple icons in the RB. The only way that I can presently see the thumbnail representative RAW images in the recycle bin is to either drag them into the RB's preview pane, or place the cursor on them and press the space bar (installed Outlook 3.7.3 to do this.)

The only thing I can think of as a possible reason why this is happening is that the Image Extension was installed back in 2021 and maybe the newer windows updates need the Image Extension to be updated?? However, I'm fearful of trying that as I'm not sure how to do it and don't want to take the chance of screwing up things. Thanks.
