So this morning I'm playing a game that shows your ping speed while playing, and today the ping speed was extremely high. (200 + when the ping speed for that game is normally around 120 ish) I got curious so I checked my internet settings. I found out that ALL routers that my pc could potentially connect to in the area had 'connect automatically' set to on. The only router that should have that setting on is the top one in this image.
None of the other routers are in the 'forget router' section of my settings, and I can't seem to turn off the 'connect automatically' option at all for any of them. I can click the checkmark to turn them off, but the next time I check that connection the connect automatically box is back on again. Through a live chat help I found out some other things needed updated (besides the main windows update) but after resolving that the issue persisted.
