Camera Disconnection Issue During WhatsApp Video Calls on Windows

a recurring issue on WhatsApp Beta for Windows where my camera unexpectedly turns off during video calls. The only solution is to end and restart the call. This occurs randomly and affects the usability of the application.

Details:

  • WhatsApp Beta version: 2.2350.03.0
  • Windows version: 10.0.22621 build 22621 ( Windows 11 Pro)

Steps taken:

  • Updated WhatsApp Beta and Windows.
  • Checked and updated camera drivers.
  • Reinstalled Whatsapp Beta
  • checked prefetch superfetch logs
