Windows 11 detects headphone, but keeps playing audio from speakers.
Hello!
I've had windows 11 on this laptop for around 2-3 months and sofar audio worked flawlessly, i'm guessing the recent update caused the error, as I written above, it detects my headphones, but is incapable of playing audio off of them.
Spotify refuses to play, youtube play from speaker, however netflix (only the player, the menus play from speakers) uses the headphone as audio output with no problem.
I've tried: Other audio devices, rebooting, updating drivers, updating windows and i'm certain there is no issue with my jack input or my headphones.
My audio driver: Realtek 6.0.9250.1
Thank you!

- drpureviewCopper ContributorHi, I'm having same issues since my upgrade. I regret upgrading to this nightmare version of windows and I'm past the rollback time limit. This is hands down in the league of pathetic windows like Vista.
It detects my headphones but only a few apps play sound using my analog headphone. It seems like that the upper limit of apps that can output using headphones simultaneously is 2-3. I have tried multiple sound drivers and its still giving me constant issues on my ASUS Vivobook 15. Apps randomly stop detecting sound card and I couldn't find any solution anywhere. - benjaperezbpCopper ContributorHi! something similar is happening to me. I am now with build 22598 and, out of nowhere, when I plug in my headphones, the audio comes out of my laptop speakers 😞
