Win11 File Explorer search bar freezes or search suggestions don't appear when typing in Chinese
When typing Chinese in the search box in the upper-right corner of File Explorer, the input method suggestion window often freezes or appears with a delay; sometimes, it is even impossible to type Chinese normally, but switching to English input works fine.

Hi Castiellm, I would start by checking whether the issue is with Windows Search, File Explorer, or the Chinese input method. Try typing the same Chinese text in Notepad and in the Start menu search to see if the delay happens everywhere or only in File Explorer. Then rebuild the search index from Indexing Options and restart the PC. If it only happens with one Chinese IME, remove and re-add that language/input method, or test another Microsoft Chinese keyboard option. Also check for Windows updates, because File Explorer search and IME bugs are often fixed through cumulative updates.
