Which PC Build should I go for? I have a 1440p 280HZ OLED monitor

I recently built a new PC and have a 1440p 280Hz OLED monitor, so I need a system that can push high frame rates at this resolution to fully utilize the display's speed and image quality. Should I prioritize a powerful graphics card like an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX, and which CPU would best avoid bottlenecking at 1440p for competitive shooters and fast-paced games?

    For competitive gaming and maximizing frame rates, the RTX 4080 is generally preferred due to its strong performance, DLSS support, and more mature driver ecosystem. It’s more likely to consistently hit and sustain 280 FPS in demanding titles.
