We hope the Windows 11 Start menu will allow for manual pinning
I like the categorized view in the Start menu, but since I can’t manually assign or change categories, it’s pretty much useless. I hope you can add the ability to manually assign and customize categories.

You can use a third-party Start Menu tool to manually create and organize pinned apps.
Being able to organize your apps and shortcuts in a way that suits your preferences would make the Start menu much more useful and personalized.
