I saw a post mentioning that the MSFT team decided to shut off animations when switching virtual desktops via the hotkeys because there were bugs in some scenarios.
Now, I've never experienced those bugs, nor has, apparently, more than 60 people who commented out of frustration on that post, confused as to why it was removed.
This is a huge step backwards in user experience. I upgraded to Win 11 last week, and have since had constant trouble realizing when I've switched desktops in many cases. For those of us who make heavy use of VDs this is an enormous step backwards in productivity.
