"Show hidden icons" taskbar button shows blank spaces

Ran across this thread that is speaking of similar phantom icons ... can you check to see if any of the recommendations on this thread helps? https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/all/windows-11-taskbars-minisearchhost-problem/e3f97677-b53a-43bf-8236-d8d4a165159c especially the minisearchhost one.
