Being physically in the EEA does not necessarily make the uninstall option appear. Microsoft’s EEA changes use the country or region selected during Windows setup; changing your current location or using a VPN is not the same thing.

    Check these points:

    1. Press Win + R, enter winver, and check your Windows version. The EEA uninstall option was introduced for Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 23H2, with the relevant updates installed, and is also available on later supported Windows 11 versions.
    2. Install available Windows updates and restart. Then check Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Edge > Uninstall. On Windows 10, use Apps & features.
    3. If this is a work or school laptop, ask IT whether Edge removal is restricted by management policies.

If the laptop was originally set up with a non-EEA region, simply changing Settings > Time & language > Language & region may not enable removal. Microsoft documents that the region used for these regulatory features can only be changed by resetting Windows. Do not reset just to test this without first confirming the cause and backing up your files.
