I agree with your sentiments. Still trying to convert via the suggested three dots route. 'Export' is not one of the options I have!? And I have Windows 11. Don't get it. I need to step away and regroup.

- Terry_VaraniJan 02, 2024Copper ContributorCitizenSmith -- Thanks for suggesting Imazing Converter. I had been looking for a HEIC --> jpg bulk conversion tool, and had tried several options, but this worked great. Even left the "date taken" intact which was important to me.
- LPKimOct 20, 2023Copper ContributorSuch a timely discussion. I was transferring all my travel pictures today and came across this problem. Your conversation was perfect for me. I downloaded this easy app, and it works! Seems this is a new issue that I've not ever had before. My phone is three years old, and this is the first time I have had this problem. Is it a new update?
- CitizenSmithOct 21, 2023Copper ContributorI recall transferring images before as I have them on my PC and didn't need a third party app so I guess that's a yes. just like Apple to make things difficult and expensive it's their way. I wish I had kept my Samsung/android it wins hands down in every department and rooting just brings the cherry to the cake. Apple is a confined phone makes you feel like your in prison only you pay for the right!
- Ralph1952Oct 19, 2023Copper ContributorHi. It's downloaded and thanks for your prompt reply. The HEIC photos are no longer on my phone. I need to convert the HEIC photos on my PC. Perhaps I'm impatient but I don't see an option to convert downloaded HEIC photos. Am I just not seeing that option?
- CitizenSmithOct 19, 2023Copper ContributorThe app I downloaded actually does HEIC photos on your PC just drag and drop them on to the apps window there is also a text in top left corner of imazing app saying (File) there you can choose directory or induvial files. as far as I'm aware I don't think it can convert straight from iphone unless you have your phones directory open on the PC, but as you said the images you are wanting converted are already on your PC so that's perfect if in doubt just highlight all the images in the images folder you have them in and drag them over to the imazing converters window and just drop them job done you should see them being converted after choosing a save directory that is I usually just create a folder inside the folder where my HEIC photos are so I know where to look afterwards.. hope that helps
