Windows 10 keeps restarting after updates – stuck in a loop

Every time Windows 10 installs updates, it restarts my PC—which is normal. But lately, after the restart, it gets stuck in a loop where it tries to finish the update, fails, undoes changes, and then tries again the next time I shut down. I've let it run for hours and it still does the same thing.

I've already tried running the update troubleshooter and clearing the SoftwareDistribution folder, but neither helped. At this point I'm just delaying updates to avoid the headache.

Anyone else dealing with this or know how to break the loop?
