Whose logic makes hibernate take longer than boot?
I've noticed that putting my computer into hibernation and resuming it sometimes takes longer than performing a normal shutdown and boot, which seems counterintuitive because hibernation is supposed to save the current system state and restore it later. I'm curious about the logic behind this behavior, especially how memory size, disk speed, drivers, startup services, and Windows power management affect the time required to save and restore a hibernation image.
