Trying to access drives while in hyper-v virtual mode

OK, I installed XP Pro SP3 on my Win10 PC Hyper-V. I am trying to figure out to access the other drives on my PC while in XP mode. This doesn't work the same way Win 7 Pro VM did. 

Yes, I am using generation 1 VM. XP works fine. Even successfully activated it. Good thing I saved my install discs and product keys.

I have files I need to support some software I installed in XP and can't access them. I mean, do I have to burn a CD and copy from that to the virtual C:\ drive? I guess no one at MS actually thought all this through, did they....
