The computer has encountered a hardware error
My computer suddenly displayed a message indicating that a hardware error has been encountered. The issue seems to occur randomly, often during startup or when running intensive applications, and it causes the system to crash or restart unexpectedly. I have checked all connections and performed basic troubleshooting, but the problem persists. I am concerned that there might be a failing component such as the hard drive, RAM, or motherboard, but I am not sure how to identify the exact cause. Any advice or guidance on diagnosing and fixing this hardware error would be greatly appreciated, as I want to prevent potential data loss or further damage to my system.

Hi Vgaspar ,
The hardware error could be caused by faulty RAM, a failing hard drive/SSD, overheating, a power supply issue, or a motherboard problem.
Kindly check below.
- Check Event Viewer for error details.
- Run Windows Memory Diagnostic (mdsched.exe) to test RAM.
- Check drive health with chkdsk /f /r.
- Monitor CPU and GPU temperatures.
- Update drivers and BIOS.
Please try to preform below steps,
Replace any failing hardware, clean dust and improve cooling, ensure the power supply is working properly, and keep drivers and BIOS up to date. Back up important data immediately if you suspect a drive failure.
Most Likely Causes, Faulty RAM, overheating, storage drive issues, or an unstable power supply.
