Screen turns off when moving the laptop lid
My laptop screen goes black and turns off whenever I adjust the lid angle, even slightly, but it comes back on when I hold the lid steady in a specific position. This happens consistently and does not occur when the laptop is connected to an external monitor, suggesting a possible loose display cable or faulty hinge connection.

Try gently cleaning the hinge with compressed air or a soft cloth to ensure there's no debris blocking the connection.

The most common and easiest-to-fix cause is that the display cable connector has worked loose at one of its ends—either at the motherboard or the back of the screen panel. Moving the lid can cause the cable to lose connection momentarily, leading to the blackout.
