On Windows 10, is it possible to enable the sunset timer without turning on location services?

I turned off location services, but when I tried to enable the night light and set it to automatically adjust based on sunset time, the system prompted me to turn on location services. Doesn’t the computer already have a system clock? Why is it necessary to enable location services? Is there a way to use the sunset timer feature without turning on location services? Thank you.

The issue comes down to the difference between knowing the time and knowing where the sun is. While your computer knows that your time zone is, for example, Eastern Time (UTC-5), "sunset" isn't a fixed time like 7:30 PM. It changes by a few minutes every single day depending on your exact spot on the globe. For example, sunset in Seattle happens later than sunset in Miami, even though they are in the same time zone.
