New window doesn't open on top

When I open a new window, or click on a window in the task bar it doesn't open in front of other windows.  I have to find it with ALT-TAB.

 

Any suggestions for how to fix it?

    Hi there. Don't know if is what you're looking for but right click the task bar and unmark the option «stacked windows» (or something like that since I am translating).

    Tell me if it works

      Hi Luis,

      Thank you for your suggestion.  I tried what you suggested and, while it did not solve the problem, I experimented with the options and have one that shows me all the windows.  This works most of the time when I click on a window and it becomes the focus.  There are a few windows where this doesn't work correctly, but it is an improvement.
