I agree with this recommendation. Separating the Shell/URI activation mechanism from File Explorer would make Windows more reliable, allowing important apps like Settings to continue working even if Explorer crashes. It would improve stability and make troubleshooting easier.
Create custom protocols or URL schemes for your apps to launch them independently of Explorer.
If File Explorer crashes or becomes unresponsive, independent applications can continue functioning without disruption.
