How to use dual monitors Windows 10

Copper Contributor

To use dual monitors on Windows 10, follow these steps:

  1. Connect your second monitor to your computer using a VGA, DVI, HDMI, or DisplayPort cable.

  2. Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.

  3. Scroll down to the Multiple displays section and select Extend these displays.

  4. You'll see two boxes with numbers inside them, representing your two monitors. You can drag them around to arrange them in the order that matches how they are physically arranged on your desk.

  5. You can also adjust the resolution and scaling of each monitor to match your preferences. Simply click on the monitor you want to adjust and choose your preferred settings.

  6. Click Apply to save your changes.

Now you should be able to move your mouse cursor seamlessly between the two monitors, and open applications and windows on either one.
