How do I merge two user folders on the C drive in Windows 10?
After logging in with a Microsoft account, the user folder name on the C drive changed to the first five characters of the email address. After modifying it using netplwiz, two separate folders appeared, causing path confusion. How can these be safely merged or restored to a single user folder?

Open File Explorer.
Check the contents of both folders (original and new) to see where your files are.
Confirm which folder has your documents, downloads, desktop files, etc.

Merging two user folders in Windows 10 can be a delicate process, especially if you've already modified user account settings and have multiple folders with similar or confusing names.

Before making any changes, ensure you back up your important files from both user folders to an external drive or a safe location.
