Help: Logitech Keyboard Won't wake Win10 from sleep and doesn't work after waking.
Problem just started happening. The mouse will wake the computer but the Logitech K400 keyboard will not. When computer wakes, there's no keyboard connection and the Logitech Unifying software doesn't see any keyboards. If I unplug the Logitech Unifying receiver USB Key, and plug back in, I get a windows message that the last USB device plugged in was not recognized (no matter which port I plug it into).
I have ran the update driver routines on everyting. I've used Device manager to ensure all USB devices' (including hubs, mouse, keyboard) power management is set to not allow windows to turn of and/or 'allow this device to wake computer' is set (where applicable). Have deleted all hidden USB devices. Have disabled USB Selective Suspend in power configuration.
Keyboard works fine if I reboot.
Pulling my hair out at this point.

I've posted various responses to comments but my responses don't show up. Not sure what's going on.
Plot twist. The keyboard will now consistantly wake the computer from sleep, but then no longer works (or is recognized) once the PC is awake.
So, the plot thickens. Ocasionaly, the keybord will wake the computer from sleep, but the keyboard is otherwise still unresponsive, i.e. I can't type in my password, and the keyboard doesn't show up as a connected device in the device manager or the Logitech Unifying sofware (unless I reboot).
Because the receiver is unrecognized after wake on every port but works after reboot, this looks like a USB resume-state failure rather than a pairing problem.
After failure, check Event Viewer, System for Kernel-PnP or USB errors at the wake time and record any status code. In Device Manager, uninstall only the Logitech receiver USB composite device, then perform a full shutdown and power-on. Install the PC manufacturer’s BIOS, chipset, and USB-controller drivers and the receiver manufacturer’s current software. Check powercfg /lastwake and powercfg /devicequery wake_armed to separate “cannot wake” from “fails after wake.”
Test the receiver on another computer after sleep, and test another USB keyboard on this PC. If only this receiver fails, replace or re-pair it; if several USB devices fail after sleep, escalate the controller or firmware. Windows 10 support has ended, so include migration to a supported release in the long-term plan.

The log error I'm seeing after wake from sleep is: An attempt to clear an error on the USB bus failed.
The keyboard is in the list of devices under: wake_armed> powercfg /devicequery wake_armed

A very common cause for this specific K400 behavior is physical setup. Logitech emphasizes that their Unifying receiver must be plugged directly into your computer, not a USB hub, monitor, or KVM switch .

I've tried plugging the receiver into every front and back port on the PC (Dell T3600) behaviour is the same. No hubs (aside from what may be built into the T3600) or switches.
