Can't connect to other PC on Private network although it is visible.

There seems to be a connectivity problem on my private network and I can't get to files on other connected PC. What I can see is that DNS Client is disabled in MSC.services which could be (part of)

the problem. I'm running Win10 Pro 2004.

Any suggestions how to get this fixed ?

    tara43 are you set both of them to be Private?

    Are you able to ping both devices?

    What happens when you attempt to access? What is the error message?

    Did you set sharing permission for the folder?

    Does other device also runs build 2004?

      Hello Reza,

      Yes they are both set to private on 2004.

      I can ping them from both sides, and the error mesage is 'Windows cannot access \\HP-9470 " which is my laptop which I'm trying to reach from my desktop.  

      Files are shared from both sides and can be reached from CG8265 but not from HP-9470.
