Getting emergency issue on main tech feed.
When TechNet was up I had great results with answers from Msft or other experts in the field. Currently I have an issue with a client's peer network where everything seems to be set correctly including permissions but apparently the client peer can't access the peer server's shares to remap a drive after a crash saying "\\ [peer server] is not accessible you might not have permission..." I desperatelyneed to know which services may be broken but a previous post was moved to w10 discussion space with NO reply on the subject at all. I think it is not showing on the main feed as well. This is a business continuity issue. If you know of the answer pleasetell me and maybe of a place i can post where i will get same day answers form MSFT and other experts. W10 is NOT that place and there is no budget for Msft support.725Views1like1Commentmapped drive connectivity breaks on crash unable to connect to peer
network drive mapping from peer to peer breaks on crash. the access to the main pc over the network using correct credentials for a user on that pc seems to be denied claiming \\ [peer server] is not accessible you might not have permission to use this network resource.......... The pcs are on the same subnet, wired to the same router and both are in the workgroup "workgroup". PCs were originally set to use password protected access as using the other radio button 'turn off' did not work. I tried resetting it both ways. file and printer sharing are on. Network is set to private. Permissions were set to everyone, full control when i originally set it up. I still had to map the drive originally using credentials from an admin user on the peer server. By peer server I mean a pc with a directory shared out of the drive to allow a small accounting program to access the main file from both pcs. This has happened before i would like to stop it permanently1.2KViews0likes4Comments**No access for elderly user. bill and business critical***

An 82 year old user had a crash or power outage while putting his password in after system reset. Now Microsoft wont recognize his password and the phone issue doesnt allow him to get a text message for resetting his password. WE tried to use my email to reset with the code but after putting in his information sans recent email titles but it said the reset had exceeded the number of tries. He could not remember any email titles or content because it has been several weeks and he had not sent an email for several months. He uses his computer to pay bills. I'ts going on the 4th week. He is desperate. I need a way to recover or a work around.1.1KViews0likes1CommentSlow webpages and MS teams
Have a fully updated computer here that loads pictures slow in edge and has performance issues in teams. In edge it has slowly loading pictures in pages such as the initial page and "new page' and websites such as fox news. If you scroll down the pictures do not immediately populate. PC has 5 cores 2.4 GHz (AMD) 8 gb ram. It initially had a virus issue but I completely reloaded and fully updated windows and edge twice. I also loaded A new antivirus as it had none. I tried advanced settings and adjusted it for maximum performance but it did not change loading.1.7KViews0likes3Comments
