Re: Does Teams Sync with Outlook Contacts?
Carl_Aegis - just an update...the synchronization between Teams and Outlook has started to fail again. I have a support ticket through my IT consultant to Microsoft to see what the issue is again. Do not understand how this can continue to happen with these platforms.7.8KViews0likes1CommentRe: Does Teams Sync with Outlook Contacts?
Carl_Aegis - just want to note that after some time and effort my TEAMS account is now properly synchronized with Outlook contacts. To achieve this I needed to turn on "PUBLIC PREVIEW" that is accessed by clicking the three ellipsis beside your login image or initials (upper right corner), selecting ABOUT/PUBLIC PREVIEW.114KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Does Teams Sync with Outlook Contacts?
Pn1995 We continue to have issues with Teams not synchronizing with our contact in Outlook. We have been told by Microsoft support that this function is not available. This is a major shortcoming in the coordination between Office 365 applications and we need to understand when Microsoft is going to correct this lack of connectivity. We were never told that this would be the situation when being sold the phone system and in fact we were told the opposite. This condition is worse on the mobile application. Would appreciate a response from Microsoft with some understanding of getting this issue on the roadmap.170KViews4likes8CommentsRe: Edit PDF in sharepoint online
Swami7 , The process you are talking about is absolutely available in SharePoint. In fact, in SharePoint you are able to "check out" a PDF file while you are making those notes so no one else can edit the file at the same time. You would simply download the file and open it in your PDF editing software and then Save As back to SharePoint. That being said, that is not really the issue being requested here. We are looking for the SharePoint platform to allow collaboration on a PDF document just as it is allowed on WORD and EXCEL documents with multiple people viewing and editing the document at the same time on the SharePoint platform. This would also allow a PDF document to have the same Version History record as well. Hope this helps. Carl14KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Edit PDF in sharepoint online
SteveMartin thanks for the link, but, Acrobat wants another $16/month per seat for this benefit. We already have a PDF editing tool but we are being blocked from using it on the 365 platform (not sure blocked is the right term but you get the idea). PDF format is an open language and we should be able to use the tools we already have to provide this functionality.27KViews2likes0Comments
