Re: Following Capability in Modern Sites
Juan M Baena wrote: Thank you all for the responses. That is correct, pages or news we can save for later but for Documents you have to rely on what Delve shows you either recent ones you have accessed or other files from other sites/locations that you may have interest. The use case we keep hearing is what we had on classic pages. You are in a SharePoint Site reviewing document libraries and you like in picking from there files that you like to follow. Any thoughts on when following people may be part of the road map? Thanks! Juan M Baena: What would you like to do, once you follow a document? What is the expectation here?6.2KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Following Capability in Modern Sites

By the way, "following" a document and "save for later" is not the same idea You are right. The gestures are not quite the same. We are intentional about introducing Save For Later. What about classic "following" documents experience do you like/expect ? Today, you can Save for later documents from the SP mobile app. See this post. We are just rolling out Saving pages/news in the web. We will expand to more entry points and Save for later abilities over time (and based on customer feedback as well)6.2KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Following Capability in Modern Sites
We already have the ability to "Follow" sites. Look for the "STAR" icon in the top right side of any site. Recently we have introduced a concept of "Save for Later" on the web - its a quick way to collect and get to pages/news. See this post. If you are using the SharePoint mobile app, you can also Save documents for later, on top of pages/news. See this post You can always manage your Saved items or Followed sites from SharePoint home - the SharePoint landing page when you click on the SharePoint tile in the Suite Nav menu or from Office.com homepage. At this point, we don't have an ability to "follow" people in the SharePoint modern experiences. Would love to hear about your thoughts on this.6.2KViews0likes8Comments
