Advice Please - Shared Mailboxes...
I'm looking to use my first foray into Power Automate for a colleague. They want to create a form where the response goes into a shared mailbox for the Team to pick up. They want the response to contain the individual detail of the response as the form they are building will be 'complex' and with substantial amount of branching. My creative juices have found a template which sends a mail from a Shared Mailbox once a response is received. I cannot find one which dumps the entire response INTO a shared mailbox. Is this possible please? My use of forms is limited. They really like the product but I'm reticent to get them to create complex forms with lots of branching if I cannot dump the results into their mailbox. My only other experiment with forms just notified me via mail that there was a response, rather than send me the entire response. We've got this issue currently. Want to create a meeting from the shared mailbox. This is working fine. Invite goes out. However, the user creating the invite demonstrated the same 'only meeting organisers can make changes' when they went in via Teams app or Outlook ribbon button. I actually didn't think you can send out from a shared mailbox. I thought the Team were copying and pasting a link. Hi jhobdell - did you have any joy? What statistics have you managed to pull from LP and how please? Currently looking to ramp up consumption, but also potentially gain some insight into the usage but not seen that covered anywhere. Is it through sharepoint reporting you can gain access to any analytics? I'm not familiar with those at all. Hi Scarlett725 We've had small but positive feedback since acquiring the preview build last summer - I've only released it to around 50 people thus far for a pilot. I will be looking at some form of Dynamic Membership or all org group to roll out (which is what I'm interested in reading peoples experience on!) but feel it needs a comms wrapper around it due to the membership generating an email to the user - the cynic in me suggest our users will either ignore or send it to junk if we don't. Really interested in the concept and forthcoming updates once I've got the latest version live.. I've not compared side to side with the content you get in the Teams app itself - that really helps adoption for me. Teams has 'Training' on board as well as a wordsearch. For me, Pathways boxes off the people who 'require' training before they make any effort but it is one extra thing in a suite of support. I do think there is an art in getting people to help themselves via the in app help function too. Despite Outlook even saying 'Tell me what you want to do' I find noone even notices it's there.. Increasing awareness of these things will hopefully help turn the tide too.2.4KViews2likes1Comment
