Re: The Chat Notification Badge That Won't Die
This is what worked for me to remove the number from the Teams icon in the Taskbar. 1. Go to Windows Settings > Personalisation > Taskbar. Under Taskbar items, set Chat to On. 2. Click the Chat icon on the Taskbar. 3. If the ... (What's new and more) button at the top right of the Chat window is showing a red (or some other colour) dot, then this is the issue. Click the ... button and select What's new from the popup menu. The badge number on the Teams icon should now have disappeared. So, it seems that Teams displays a badge number on the Teams icon in the Taskbar when there is a notification of something new in the What's new section. However, I could not find any way to see this notification or display the What's new menu from within the Teams app itself. It seems to only be accessible via the Chat app. Go figure! I had this problem on two of my Windows 11 computers and this solution worked on both of them.8.8KViews4likes9CommentsRe: Teams badge won't go away

Microsoft should not be getting into business with or integrating any of their products with any BNPL organisations. BNPL is a sleazy business model and will only make Microsoft appear the same. This is a disgusting addition to Edge. It will only serve to damage Microsoft's reputation. Whoever thought this was a good idea should be ashamed, and needs to be retrained or replaced. The functionality should be removed from Edge. Offer it as an Extension if you must. However, development time would be better spent fixing bugs rather than adding this sort of garbage.4.3KViews4likes0CommentsRe: Dev channel update to 82.0.446.0 is live

Mine are still rounded, and you seem to be missing the drop shadow as well. See image below. I'm using Windows 10 latest Insider Release Preview. What OS are you using?8.1KViews1like10CommentsRe: Dev channel update to 82.0.446.0 is live

Version 82.0.451.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) I believe ngnlx is referring to: Right-click a web page > Context menu displayed > select Add page to Collections > pop-out displayed with only your first 10 Collections (and an option to create a new Collection). If you have more than 10 Collections, the 11th to n'th Collections are not shown in the pop-out list.8.7KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Share Button added to the Toolbar!
HotCakeX I see. However, I cannot recall any software product that I've used/seen that, when offering the option to add items to a toolbar, those same items are removed from a menu; and visa-versa. That is, toggling an item to appear on a menu or toolbar, but not on both at the same time. I imagine there might be products somewhere that may do this, but have you ever seen this functionality in any Microsoft product? I believe such functionality would be potentially confusing to some users... "Where did that menu item go? It's there on my other computer!"... and potentially create an inconsistency in the user interface as users move from one device to another. So perhaps we'll have to agree to disagree.3.9KViews0likes5CommentsRe: Share Button added to the Toolbar!

HotCakeX Really? Can't say I'd agree. Is there some issue with a button existing on a toolbar and a menu? I think that's quite often the case. Would you also want the Favorites, Collections and Feedback items removed from the menu? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding you?4.1KViews0likes9CommentsRe: Reading List - Discussion

That is, all my favorites are saved within the Favorites Bar or subfolders of the Favorites Bar. With the Favorites Bar showing in the toolbar, it's much the same as having the Favorites pinned open. In fact, I think it's better.14KViews0likes0Comments
