Windows 11 Pro Explorer Problem
After update 2023-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5031354), the left explorer panel, tree, start to act up. Sometime with out the explorer being selected, the left panel tree will reset to the bottom of the whole tree and not go back to the folder open in the right panel. The only way to get the left panel to start working again is scroll up in the left panel and click on the folder it was at. I have tried clicking on the folder in the address bar, but nothing happen. Normally if I click on a folder in the address bar, the left panel go to that folder. Any suggestion other than uninstalling the update.506Views0likes0CommentsRe: Windows Media Player for Windows 11 Pro - Cannot Uninstall KB3010081
I too have the Windows Media Player Legacy version installed because it is much more flexible than the new media player. Windows 11 up date has caused Windows Media Player Legacy version to now close and reopen in the default size, tiny, each time you click on a different file in the same folder. In the past it did not do this, close/reopen, it stayed open. Anyone know how to stop Windows Media Player Legacy from closing and then reopening tiny? Or change the default size?1.4KViews0likes0CommentsRe: How to enable 'Never Combine taskbar buttons'. Windows 11 ?
Because some new computer only come with Windows 11. For example, some company's with computers on sale will not allow changing operating software and some computer company's only will sell computers with Windows 11 . This happened to me.3.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: How to enable 'Never Combine taskbar buttons'. Windows 11 ?
I agree, if Microsoft could have this fixed and implemented in weeks if they wanted to and I feel its not in their best business interest because Windows 10 was to advanced for the general user which is a sad reflection of them. If Microsoft wanted to help America grow technological, they would offer Windows 10 as free upgrade to Windows 11 for the people who do technological work and leave Windows 11 for the web surfers, gamers and emailers.3.8KViews1like5CommentsRe: How to enable 'Never Combine taskbar buttons'. Just bough a new computer which came with Windows 11 and I'm very disappointed with all the degrading from windows 10. Tried upgrading to Window 11 Pro but it's just as bad. Just to scratch the surface of degrades; No 'Never Combine taskbar buttons', this is a real problem if you use the OS for work. No 'Rename' on right click, if your the OS with single click mouse option, you have to go through another menu to get to rename And I doesn't stop here I see it been over 2 years that the 'Never Combine taskbar buttons' has been requested and said to be in the near update yet nothing has happen. I agree that MS new slogan should: If it aint broken, just wait for the next update".5.7KViews2likes1Comment
