Bing search results blocked (by Edge SmartScreen?)
Search results generated by Bing in the Edge browser are periodically being blocked by 'Microsoft Security'. Not individual results but every link generated by the search query on the results page. I'm not sure but suspect it's the Edge SmartScreen that's taking issue with some element within the page, possibly the Ad servers or Bing chat that it recognises as suspect. This happens sporadically and within a few minutes it will generally resolve itself but it's a presenting as a major annoyance within classes we deliver. SmartScreen is toggled on in Edge by default as we don't have a policy set for it currently and creating a policy that toggles it off will probably cause greater issues from a threat perspective. Might be barking up the wrong tree with SmartScreen but the apparent random nature of the issue makes it hard to nail down. Only constant is that it effects Bing results only. Having the same issue reported for a handful of users. Weirdly the Teams webapp behaves as expected but the client not only picks up surrounding voices (as far away as 10m) but seems to amplify them. Meetings are next to impossible due to the warring voices going on. Noise suppression is set to high for these users with no impact. Any ideas? Thanks!
