David Phillips Believe or not but this issue still showing 🙂 and we are in 2023, the environment is Hybrid. exchange is on-primase and synced with Azure. I have tried to sign in with pure cloud account and still face the same issue. this issue happening after I reset the device, We are using S2, maybe most of you facing this issue with S1.Re: Surface Hub 2S with on-premise Exchange 2019 CU09: room account problems
Thanks Joel_S, your description for the issue in details was helpful. it works now. to connect Surface Hub to on-premises, I was needed to disable Modern Authentication from Surface Hub, assign the device account in format "Domain\username."Re: Surface Hub 2S with on-premise Exchange 2019 CU09: room account problems
I am facing the same issue you got. let me describe what I understand and correct me: - ModernAuthentication is forced on Surface hub and need to be disabled? - No way to apply ModernAuthentication on on-premise server? - Can you advise on the steps to assign on-premise device account? normally I add the DomainName\email address removed for privacy reasons. by doing this , I am getting the error you mentioned.
